Matthew Robin took on the role of CEO of the ELSA-MIFROMA group on 1st May 2011.

Affiliated with M-Industrie, for which it is one of the main growth levers, the ELSA-MIFROMA group is aiming to continue its development on an international scale. This formed the background to the decision to strengthen the management by appointing Matthew Robin as CEO of the group and director of ELSA.

Mr Robin, 46, boasts long experience with industrial companies with international leanings, in both Switzerland and the United States. Born in England, he is fluent in French and German, as well as English.

Gilles Oberson, whom he is succeeding, will continue to play an important role within the group, now concentrating on the cheesemaking sector as CEO of MIFROMA and its subsidiaries. He will also continue to be actively involved in the general tasks related to agricultural policy that he has assumed up to now.
